Grew up in a family that banned motorcycles and the like. Once I could convince everyone it was safe to do, I had a transformative experience. The scenery of regular Pretoria East seemed vibrant, tangible and alive. Thank you for letting me in on the experience of a lifetime.

What an experience. As a person that has been a citizen of Pretoria for my entire life, I have never seen a side of Pretoria so beautiful as I went on the Velatswi Scooter Tour. I had an incredible time. the rides were phenomenonal. my favourite part was the helmets, I could communicate with my partner through the mic system during the ride. brilliant.

I always admired bikes from a distance, and regarded them as thrilling but dangerous until one of the ladies posted “group bike tour” on our book club WhatsApp group.
The big day came, and nerves kicked in, first timer 🙈. We cruised the city streets, from Arcadia, to Union buildings and Waterkloof, communicating with each other via Bluetooth. The scenery was incredible and calming.
The experience was electrifying, a day well spent. Will definitely do this again, yes a bike tour!!!

My very first time on a bike was with Velaride. The ride was absolutely amazing. I saw beautiful views I had never seen before, wow! Honestly, I never thought I would go on a bike in my life but I did it eventually! I was nervous prior to the ride, but I was so calm during the experience and really had fun. First Velaride was quite the experience! We traveled through the beautiful Jacaranda streets of Pretoria and stopped at many tourist attractions. Before the ride I felt a whole lot of positive nerves. Excited with a tinge of fearful. I thought the scooters would be fast and scary but instead felt free and exhilerating. I would recommend this experience to everyone. If you're looking for date ideas this is it! I hope to see Velatswi in all 9 provinces soon!

It was our first time on scooters and I must say it was such an incredible experience! We felt very safe as the drivers assured us that everything was going to be fine. We got to take a little tour around Pretoria — I grew up in this city but viewing it from a bike ride is just something different!

Initially I was the sceptical one, but as the trip went on I was more at ease and started to enjoy it. The drivers are trained at this so be assured that it will be a safe and fun ride!

One of the best experiences, which was very thrilling especially being on a bike for the very first time. The whole concept blew my mind with the whole helmet situation being able to communicate with your partner while driving through the city seeing breathtaking views!
